Thank you Mary!

Eight years ago, I had the fortune of running in to Mary Burton.  I had been scouring the neighborhood on my own as a looky-loo.  As a single mom, and a newly graduated nurse, I just didn’t think owning my own home was truly feasable.  I found a place that I wanted check out, so I called the number on the sign.  To my surprise, Mary and her husband, Butch (Jim) showed up to the home within minutes to show me the inside.  What FABULOUS people!  The showing of that home was just the first of MANY.  Mary was able to guide me through the home-buying process, offer me options, and support my decisions.  I bought a small home. Although I new that such a successful real estate agent had bigger fish to fry, Mary treated me as though I was purchasing a million-dollar home.

I eventually decided to sell that home, and when I did, I of course called Mary Burton.  She sold my home the day after it went on the market!  I didn’t turn around and buy another home.  I rented.  HUGE mistake!  Without the tax benifit of home ownership, I owed Uncle Sam BIG TIME.

So, once again, I relied upon my friend and extraordinary real estate agent, Mary Burton to begin another home-buying adventure; this time with my very opinionated husband in tow. After all these years, I am still amazed and impressed with Mary’s ability to stay objective, realistic, and supportive throughout the home-buying process.  Being as my husband and I couldn’t seem to agree on what our family needed in a home, there were times when we called upon Mary to show us a particular home 3-4 times!  And Mary, being the gracious and patient person that she is, showed up with a smile on her face every time!  With Mary’s input and help, we found the perfect home in the perfect location.  She made sure that everything was expidited in order to close escrow.  We closed a full 15 days early!

We love our home!  Thank you, Mary for everything that you do and the person that you are.  You are one in a MILLION!

Sincerely,
